    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to oversee and manage various engineering projects for our client in Lisbon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Oversight: Manage and oversee the execution of engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
    • Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, resources, and schedules, ensuring that projects remain within financial and time constraints.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
    • Travel and Site Visits: Willingness to travel to project sites as required, both domestically and internationally, to oversee and support project activities.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

    Main Requirements:

    • Educational Background: A degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or a related discipline.
    • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or process engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
    • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is mandatory. French language skills are a plus.
    • International Career Orientation: Willingness to travel to various sites and embrace a career that may involve international assignments.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Proactive and able to work independently, applying a structured and systematic approach.

    Salary: The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
