    Your Opportunity

    We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Leader in our Santa Maria da Feira plant. Integrated into a team of 2, you will play a key role in supporting local production of conveyors, participating to upskill our manufacturing processes.

    Your Mission

    1. Project developments:
      1. Participate in the design of equipment to integrate industrial design and assembly constraints as soon as possible.
      2. Participate in the control of equipment costs with the purchasing departments.
      3. Arbitrate the choice of the method of supply of machine components in accordance with the manufacturing process.
      4. Supervise the prototype assembly process in order to solve manufacturing and assembly problems as soon as possible.
      5. Define pre-series and serial manufacturing processes as part of project development milestones.
      6. Design the workshop tools necessary to manufacture equipment.
    2. Production support:
      1. Make sure to make technical documentation available.
      2. Supervise the industrialization of assembly processes in order to reduce manufacturing times.
      3. Oversee the optimization of assembly processes.
      4. Actively collaborate in the reduction of customer and internal non-conformities.
      5. Support to purchasing and quality departments.
      6. Participate in the development of strategic suppliers.
      7. Participate in the development of critical components requiring in-depth technical expertise in various disciplines.
    3. Within the Industrial Methods Department:
      1. At the request of the department manager, implement internal procedures.
      2. Lead continuous improvement actions.

    Your Profile

    Education and Languages:

    • Mechanical knowledge (automation notions appreciated).
    • English (technical and conversational basis).

    Key Leadership Behavior:

    • Engineer beginner accepted with minimum industrial apprenticeship experience or Technician with 3 years of experience.
    • Software: Solidworks / Excel.
    • Spirit: working in a team, open-minded, technically curious; patient & respectful.
    • Pragmatic, results-oriented and on-field actions; pro-active in solution proposal.
    • Priorities management (multi-tasks/projects) and synthesis capacities (action logs, reporting/presentation, meeting management).
    • Occasional travels to be expected.
    Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year
