    About Our Client

    Our client is a Multinational Company, with Global Business Service in Portugal.

    Job Description

    As a Management Analyst, you will work on monthly closing operations, inventory accounts reconciliation, and fixed assets reconciliation to support assets accounting management. You will have the opportunity to participate in external audits and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Monthly management of costing allocations
    • Inventory valuation
    • Closing alert checks
    • Fixed asset accounting

    Costing

    You will manage costing processes, including:

    • Transactional CO postings
    • Cycles and settlement of WBS & orders
    • Cost estimates
    • Preliminary P&L and end-of-closure checks

    You will also manage CO master data, perform inventory valuation, analyze accounts, and report IFRS month-end financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, margin in inventories) in relevant packages' sections on consolidation tools and perform preliminary checks.

    You will support external audits and execute internal controls.

    Fixed Assets Accounting

    You will process requests submitted for fixed assets and projects' creation, capitalization of closed projects, impairment, retirement, and disposal of fixed assets.

    You will record IFRS16 lease contracts changes, perform month-end closing, and reconcile accounts.

    You will report IFRS month-end fixed assets and quarterly appendices in relevant packages' sections of consolidation tools and perform preliminary checks.

    You will support external audits and execute internal controls.

    Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for a candidate with:

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Relevant work experience in accounting and/or audit

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Knowledge in management accounting domains
    • Experience in SAP - CO/PS/AA modules
    • SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a plus

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

    • Resilience and open-mindedness
    • Collaborative and team-player attitude
    • Good communication skills

    Language Skills

    We require:

    • Fluent English language skills
    • Other languages are a plus
