Job Purpose:

The IT Buyer handles daily IT procurement operations in the company including the following responsibilities:

  • Negotiating pricing, contractual agreements, budgeting, expediting orders, updating purchasing tools, providing purchasing training, researching new products and/or services. Use procurement industry best practices, Internal rules, and process.
  • Data analytic skills to help consolidation and create reporting data.

Responsabilities:


  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external key stakeholders;
  • Negotiate and develop contracts within area of responsibility;
  • Act as an escalation point for contractual and performance issues;
  • Provide commercial advice to business areas as required;
  • Promote and ensure compliance with procurement processes and approvals flows;
  • Handle global and local IT suppliers (performance, change requests, SOWs, risk & compliance management etc.);
  • Support KPIs and SLAs with suppliers during the contracting process in accordance to service requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with the Global Procurement Policy for the major categories of spend;
  • Consolidation and analysis of the global procurement spend data/KPIs for the preparation of the monthly global procurement reporting.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree, postgraduate / master's in engineering, business administration or purchasing.
  • 23 years' experience in IT procurement (projects, hardware, software, services)
  • Experience contracts negotiations (IT or non IT)
  • Experience with global business and/or IT environment.
  • Experience in Procurement processes, Systems & Compliance Management.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Experience in data management, analysis, presentations and reporting.
  • Fluency in English is must, other European languages are a plus.
  • Communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional international complex corporate environment;
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with a customeroriented profile;
  • Experience in SAP/ERP Procurement solutions (S/4HANA MM, Ariba );
  • Openminded selfstarter with the ability to adapt, improvise and solve problems;
  • Project Management skills is an asset.
