ROLE OUTLINE The main purposes of the role are to:

  • Define and manage product roadmap and backlog with business and IT teams, acting as a preferential interface to issues related with information systems development
  • Define goals, scopes, benefits and stakeholders for each initiative
  • Gather and distil requirements from users and transform them into an actionable vision
  • Assist with project management/scrum master and delivery of products
  • Monitor effectiveness of existing and new products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Iberian business and IT teams to develop accurate business cases that allow the identification of key initiatives and strategic roadmap definition
  • Be a key input into overall product strategy development and planning process
  • Rigorously analyze data to identify ideas for improvement and validate scope of opportunity of ideas
  • Identify specific ideas for improvement through competitor reviews, customer feedback, business feedback, brainstorming, workshops, etc.
  • Conduct research, study and benchmarking as necessary to help develop, test and refine ideas
  • Manage the product roadmap to identify priorities between features/projects and to prepare next sprints with technical teams
  • Define functional and highlevel technical specifications for technical teams to develop typically involving user stories, use cases, workflows, wireframes and functional specifications, etc.
  • Work with teams across the business and IT to develop and validate features
  • Work closely with technical teams, agile and waterfall, through all the product development process to ensure best in class product design and delivery
  • Identify KPIs for success of new products and report regularly on relevant KPIs
  • Communicate regularly to wider Worten team on key projects and results
  • Study and benchmarking of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transports best practices to improve internal processes and relation with 3rd parties, with focus on automation to perform and streamline supply chain processes

  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent IT practical experience
  • Previous experience (+ 3 years) as a product manager, product owner or business analysis in an IT projects environment
  • Previously in lead the process for the creation of new product features from research to implementation
  • Experience in automation

  • Experience in projects related to Supply Chain, Logistics and Transports and/orin retail market will be a plus
  • Passionate about the customer and delivering innovative ideas to improve their experience
  • Worked within an agile development environment. Certified training as a product owner in SCRUM is a plus
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of basic internet technologies. Not need to be a technical expert but need to know limitations, possibilities and be able to discuss technical issues with developers
  • Experience using user stories, use cases, workflows, wireframes and functional specifications to communicate requirements is a must
  • Experience running user research including focus groups, interviews and surveys
  • Ability to, based on business processes and systems analysis, identify bottlenecks and points of improvement
