What we're looking for:

As the
Team Lead Backend Developer, you'll lead the architectural and technical execution of our Elastic-based full-text search microservice, managing a team of 2-3 backend developers.

Your role will include driving our product strategy through the development of advanced features, such as autocomplete suggestions, faceted search, machine learning sorting, and natural language processing integration.

Additionally, you'll be expected to explore and implement recent Elastic advancements, like vector search and Large Language Models (LLMs) embedding.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Architecture: direct a team of backend developers and supervise the architectural design of our Elasticbased search microservice.
Development: drive the creation of sophisticated features like autocomplete suggestions, faceted search, and natural language processing integration, search history.
Innovation: implement the latest Elastic advancements, such as vector search and LLMs embedding.
Code quality: perform code reviews to uphold high development standards.
Performance optimization: monitor and address performance bottlenecks to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements:

Over 5 years of experience in Backend Development (PHP or Go/Java/Kotlin)
Deep understanding of Elasticsearch
Experience working on fulltext search projects
Handson experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, Docker, Nginx, REST API, Composer, Kubernetes, Git
Experience with Google Cloud
Demonstrated experience in system architecture design
Strong leadership skills with a productoriented mindset
Microservice architecture patterns
Bachelor, Master, or PHD in Computer Science
English (Intermediate+)
