Procurement Specialist - Renewables

Mission

In this role, you will be responsible to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors.

You will be highly capable and adaptable, able to develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend and deliver value and improved operational performance, with a focus on safety and risk management.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to challenge yourself personally and professionally as an integral part of Galp's Global Procurement & Contracts Team.

What you'll do:

Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies
Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies
Contracts negotiation to achieve the best value
Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts
Undertaking valueformoney reviews of existing contracts and arrangements
Alignment with businesses objectives
Executing valuecreation projects
Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders' networks.
Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business

What you'll need:

Proven working experience as a Procurement Specialist (Renewables experience is a plus)
Academic Background in Engineering, Economics or Business Management
Complementary training in Negotiation
Strong analytical skills and goaloriented
Proficiency in English
Excellent networking and negotiation skills.
Problemsolving skills
Good computer skills from the user's perspective
Good communication and interpersonal skills
