PRIMARY DUTIES:


60% Process Improvement Analyst

  • Assist GFS RTR leadership to effectively manage transition, integration and harmonization activities. This includes reorganization between companies, locations, departments and/or Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Act as project lead for GFS RTR area. Train and support other project team members, as needed. Create handoff and monitoring strategy for each project. Assist GFS RTR leadership with prioritization of resources and available timelines
  • Support transformation and drive the process of change management
  • Identify, evaluate and drive documentation of GFS RTR processes and services. Capture ideas for improving processes or implementing new tools
  • Assist GFS leadership to identify and establish necessary metrics / KPIs for continued tracking and monitoring service, process and project success
  • Work collaboratively within GFS RTR functions to identify best practices and workforce optimization tools / practices to make existing processes more efficient. Actively guide others in problemsolving and root cause analysis
  • Utilize Project Management best practices to effectively manage projects securing steering committee support, regular team updates and identification of team responsibilities
  • Crossfunctional strategic interaction, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to translate strategy into actionable information in small or large groups in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Maintain master database of improvement projects. Oversee the conduct of improvement projects in flight. Ensure periodic status reporting of process improvement initiatives. Take steps to keep projects on track

Drive a Quality Culture and support HBF Quality initiatives. This can include training, activity/performance metrics and other activities to reinforce a zero-defect Quality Performance System

40% Blackline Global System Admin

  • Global responsibility for the Blackline system Administration
  • Implementation of Blackline releases for new and existing companies/teams.
  • Maintain the SAP Connector and support the integration of other legal entities as they are migrating into SAP ONE
  • Scale up existing processes and tools (Accounts Reconciliation, Journal entries, Task Reports, Variance Analysis) to new entities integrated in SAP ONE
  • Monitor the several Interfaces ensuring all is working smoothly and drive solutions and fixes when required
  • Leverage the use of Blackline University
  • Support Reporting creation, implementation of new tools new functionalities, maintain process documentation; enable continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure the tool Settings and Users authorization Maintenance
  • Support the Regional Blackline Administrators (EIMEA, NA, LATAM and AP).
  • Share Blackline best practice with Regional Blackline Administrators and ensure Training Sessions for Administrators and Users
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place and enforce compliance reconciling data interfaces between ERP systems and Blackline system
  • Perform SOX Controls and IT General Controls
  • Key player on annual ITGC controls audit
  • Serve as contact point between H. B. Fuller Business and IT and Blackline Support team to resolve system or database issues

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, reporting, transaction processing and/or financial analysis
  • Possess solid organizational and project management skills to plan and organize own and others' project work to meet strict deadlines, preferably in Shared Services environment
  • Experience in designing, documenting and implementing best in class processes and systems in complex organizations
  • Track record of process/service transitions between companies (internal reorganizations or M&A)
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact and support team members
  • Ability to drive change within highly complex environments. Involvement in change management and cultural change (service centric, instead of task oriented)
  • Must be comfortable transitioning from high level concepts to identifying detailed needs of a project
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems [eg SAP or similar]
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Selfstarter with desire for continuous improvement, deal effectively with all levels of the organization, ability to challenge and persuade
  • Must possess strong oral, written and presentation communication skills to be able to inform and influence members of the project team and management, as necessary, documenting relevant components
