POSITION OVERVIEW
The interim student position supports research and development activities focused on strategic business markets. This function reports to a laboratory Senior Scientist or Section Leader position.

This position is located in Mindelo Portugal

PRIMARY DUTIES
Responsibility also includes scale up process following, maintaining, and ensuring test equipment is in good working order.

In addition, the interim student must manage the inventory of raw materials, standard substrates, and finished products according to the company procedures.

The interim student must be able to perform complex, simultaneous laboratory tasks and procedures accurately, and in a timely fashion.

He / She must demonstrate ability to communicate well with fellow employees and must have the ability to take a problem in its most basic form and reach a satisfactory conclusion with little supervision.

They must possess the ability to be flexible and to quickly reprioritize and organize daily work based on changing work needs.

The interim student shall fulfill responsibilities as required by the Quality System, Safety, and SOPs for the site, laboratory and business unit.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

School experience that demonstrates basic chemistry knowledge.
Knowledge of lab testing procedures
Experience in running and maintaining test equipment
Ability to write concise reports and presentations of test results
Good verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English verbally and in written form
