Night Audit Procedures:

  • Verify and balance totals from all departments ensuring that delegated duties are complete and making necessary adjustments
  • Perform and monitor auto post of room and tax charges posted by the systems.
  • Reconciliation of balance and settle charges from Micros and process debits and credit rebates for credit cards.
  • Prepare revenue reports from spreadsheet
  • Welcome and check in guests, taking into account of the established standards.
  • Check out of departing guests in accordance with the established standards.
  • Be available for guests at all times as a point of contact and co-responsibility for appropriate treatment of guest complaints, passing on and documenting such complaints.
  • Provide information and take bookings of all kinds.
  • Is responsible for the luggage service at night.
  • Acceptance and passing on of the wishes of guests to the corresponding departments / persons
  • Good computer skills including knowledge of Excel
  • Regard for details and accuracy
  • Good level of English and good written and oral communication skills
