- Design and implement enhancements to Five9 ACD subsystem to ensure top-notch code quality and comprehensive testing at different levels (unit, sub-system, and integration).
- Offer technical expertise for integrating new features in Google Cloud Platform with a focus on high availability, scalability, and multitenancy.
- Engage in sprint planning, story development, and task planning.
- Hold a Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Possess at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role or relevant capacity.
- Availability for onsite work at the Porto office for 2 days per week.
- Over 7 years of industry experience in backend software development.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Java software design and development.
- Expertise in Java EE technologies (EJB, JMS, JMX), JBoss, Tomcat, and JDBC.
- In-depth understanding of Automatic Call Distribution systems.
- Solid foundation in computer science principles like data structures and algorithms.
- Proven track record in developing real-time, high-volume systems operating 24/7.
- Extensive background in microservices development and building REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Spring framework and Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as caches.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
