Side by side with MAN Truck & Bus, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, we are hiring for a dedicated team in our Hub.
MAN Truck & Bus is focusing on three key areas:
- Alternative drive systems;
- Digitalization;
- Automated driving;
We are looking for a Product Owner to join one of our agile, cross-functional product teams to contribute to the success of our services.
Your Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the success of a MAN product in the automotive IoT context;
You ensure the technical, functional and non-functional requirements for your product are considered by working closely with the team;
You take care of new and existing services with constant involvement of the customer and together with the team;
You account for delivery, quality and technical documentation;
Supporting technical and architecture decisions, you ensure the operational readiness of your team;
You are in charge of validating the development of new concepts and economically viable use cases;
You take care of coordination between stakeholders, other teams and your team within an agile development framework;
You will manage the product backlog, the product vision and strategy in cooperation with your agile development team, while always keeping an eye on maximizing value;
You write user stories and transform complex problems into clearly articulated objectives;
You will foster the use of Agile and DevOps by providing KPIs, goals and visions;
You will put your leadership abilities into play, serving the team and foster continuous improvement;
You will be part of the team and help improve the product as well as solve blockers;
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or master degree in related field or comparable job expertise;
At least 3 years of professional experience;
Proven experience working with digital products in an international context;
Good analytical and communication capabilities;
Strong sense of accountability, quality and ownership;
Good documentation skills and knowledge of current IT topics (e.g. Domain Driven Design, IoT, REST, Cloud, etc.);
Ability to present and discuss complex technical circumstances with different target groups, adapting to the needed level of detail and language;
Previous experience in digital product development as a Product Owner;
You feel at home in an Agile and DevOps environment and have excellent knowledge of methods such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc;
You have a background in software engineering and good analytical skills;
You enjoy working in cross functional teams with changing requirements;
Being a good storyteller is an advantage;
Experience in building new business areas is a plus;
Having experience in the automotive sector is of benefit;
Willingness to travel to the offices of MAN Truck & Bus (Munich - Germany) when needed;
Very good English skills, both written and spoken;
Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
