The Digital Global Unit (DGU) is an area of
EDP SA and its mission is to challenge the organization to think differently and go beyond, in a context of increasingly frequent and faster technological, economic and social changes, creating and disseminating a digital friendly culture, favorable to the development and experimentation of new solutions that create value for the various stakeholders of the
EDP Group.

To support us in this role, we intend to recruit for the Infrastructure Management department.


Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Multi Cloud architecture design (ex: AWS, Azure, GCP,...);
  • Manage a team with specific skills geared towards cloud based environments, such as Cloud Engineers, Cloud OPS, Cloud Automation Engineers, among others;
  • Participate and collaborate with different areas of
    EDP Group in the definition of strategy, technical roadmaps (ex: services, catalogs,... ) and technical architecture references;
  • Define standards and Service standards for each Cloud Provider;
  • Promote the use of Infrastructure as Code to make infrastructures available (e.g. Terraform, Ansible,...);
  • Promote the adoption of Cloud Native practices, optimizing different Service components;
  • Stimulate the adoption and use of Cloud resources.

Looking for people with the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Management Informatics;
- + 3 years of experience in managing teams in a Cloud context, particularly in the use of Infrastructure as code (Terraform), SVSs (Github) and Configuration Management (Ansible) technologies;

  • Knowledge of mechanisms, industry technical guidelines and security in Multi-Cloud environments;
  • Advanced knowledge in Azure and AWS Public Clouds;
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or Oracle Cloud is valued;
  • Autonomy and work capacity.
