What you will do:

Together with our international team you are responsible for the strategic purchasing of transportation, sea, rail, and road.
You will manage all our tenders for transportation services.
You will steer our network with a set of criteria to identify key partners. (Currently 50+ freight forwarders and carriers)
You will take responsibility for additional investment, ramp up or ramp down of our partners.
You will drive the operation by anticipating the needs of the supply chain.
You will negotiate high level contracts, rates, services level agreements and capacities.
You will be the expert in cost assessment, retroengineering, and benchmarking of our partners.
You will always be up to date with all the new services provided in the market to deliver to our customers in the best possible conditions.
You will support the network design team with your knowledge of the market into shaping the transportation services portfolio.
You will be working closely with warehouses, supplier and customer service to understand the different types of needs.

Who we are looking for:

You have relevant working experience in that area.
You have successfully completed negotiations.
You are familiar with incoterms and customs.
You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
You have an independent and structured way of working.
You are a communicative team player and have very good English skills.
