I am passionate for Performance MAnagement Systems, and Balanced scorecard.

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, process and people oriented, I built my +20 years of experience in multinational companies like: Corticeira Amorim, SGPS (Cork products) and Voltalia (Renewable energy). In parallel I founded and owned for 12 years an accounting company providing services to 30 small and medium sized companies. I believe that it’s important to stay relevant time in the company or business you work with, to test your capabilities of achieving long term results. On the other hand, the fact of having complemented  with my own activity as an entrepreneur gave me a clear vision of the business partnering role of finance.

I consider to have reached a comprehensive understanding of how to drive a business towards to stakeholder’s expectations, supporting strategic decision making, using performance management systems, and optimized tools and processes. Implemented multiple finance processes to secure best practices, profitability and business performance. 

Ethics, accountability, and ambition are the 3 pillars which I appreciate most in the people to work with. I consider myself an entrepreneur, and my Leadership style is Coach and Relational. I’ve been leading teams with 3-5 people.
