Harry Varley-Clapp

Engineering Professional from New Zealand, now living in Porto, Portugal. 

I began my career as an engineering geologist working for large international consultancies in New Zealand and Australia between 2018 and 2023. In June of 2023, I moved to Portugal and have since been working as an independent contractor within the geotechnical field. I have worked on a wide range of exciting projects, which are discussed in detail in my CV.

Undergraduate Geology Major (BSc) and Engineering Geology Master (PMEG), at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. My postgraduate dissertation focused on quantifying and assessing risk of mass movement hazard along a major state highway in the South Island of New Zealand, following the 2016 Kaikoura Earthquake.
