Leonor Valente Pereira

Hi,

My name is Leonor Pereira and I’m a 25 year old masters in Arts & Multimedia from Lisbon with a specialisation in Moving Image and professional experience in production, direction and post production.

My thesis was centred around the Contemporary Vertical Perspective and did my internship as an artistic producer at the German-American Production Company Theofilms for a feature film to be filmed in Los Angeles.

I have also a major in Cinema from Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in the areas of Directing and Image, with a specialisation in Image. After it's completion I did a internship too in color correction and image assistance at the audiovisual content producer B’lizzard.

My experience in filming includes roles as production assistant in the film A Rainha by Lúcia Pires (September 2019), assistant director in the film Adeus Senhor António by Júlia Buísel, a Real Ficção production (December 2019) and also worked in 2020 at the film distributor Fims4you. I currently 

During this last year, in addition to performing freelance work in post-production (editing, color correction), I've been writing, directing and editing my first professional short film, In Construction that was included in Um Tempo de Todos, a collective film commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Portuguese revolution of April 25, 1974.

I took part in filming as a production assistant in the film "A Rainha” de Lúcia Pires (September 2019) and assistant director in the film "Adeus Senhor António" by Júlia Buísel, a Real Ficção production (December 2019). I also worked in 2020 at the film distributor Fims4you.

In April 2024, I premiered the film "In Construction". Short film that I wrote, directed and edited, included in "Um Tempo de Todos", a collective film commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Portuguese revolution of April 25, 1974. Project commissioned by Almada City Council. In addition to directing, I also perform post-production work (editing, color correction and small image edits), especially in color correction.

I did my master in Multimedia Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon, specializing in Moving Image with a thesis on the contemporary vertical perspective. I was also an artistic producer intern at the German-American Production Company Theofilms for a feature film to be filmed in Los Angeles.
