Mafalda Carvalho

My name is Mafalda or Effie(my nickname). I'm 29years old and I live in Portugal currently. I studied abroad most of my life, including for my university course (BA) 3D Animation and Games in Middlesex University London. I've always been interested in visual communication of all kinds, from design and UI, to film and photography, and I like to expand my knowledge on it, always. I've been drawing since I was very young and I've grown to be very comfortable in the creative world.@I've dabled in various creative projects and tried most tools at least once. Taking a more digital step lately doing 3d environments and assets, pixel images and animations and even some digital art with and without vectors. I may have most my expertise dedicated to the academic world, but I feel definitely ready to take on a challenge and dedicate my work to the industry.

Since I've turned 18 I've always been a working person. Most of my experience is varied and I belive shows my adaptability.

I learn quickly and find out how to be the most effective in any job.

Probably the most relevent to my preferred career will be my year as a teacher. There I prepared, delivered and marked diffrent creative subjects, for my diffrent classes of students ranging 9 to 18 year old

I'm a (Ba) 3d animation and Games graduate, meaning I've been exposed to various aspects of the creative side of game developing world. Created in class various projects and games, some even being showcased at EGX Rezzed and other events.
