Morgan Kuhr

I firmly believe that every child is entitled to an enriching and quality education. My goal is to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strengths and abilities. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that fosters confidence, focuses on 21st century skills, and embraces the whole child. I encourage students to cultivate their curiosity about themselves and the world using inquiry, project based learning and design thinking.  I take my responsibility as an educator very seriously and will work hard to develop mutual trust and respect amongst students, families, and the community at large.

I have worked in Title 1 schools, schools with a high level of English Language Learners, a primary school in Ecuador in which instruction was in Spanish, seven years at an IB World School in the mountains of Colorado, USA, and most recently at an IB PYP Experiential Learning School in Bangkok, Thailand. I have an excellent track record of moving students labeled as significantly below grade level to meeting and exceeding grade level expectations.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Elementary Education.  I hold a Master of Arts from Ashford University in Curriculum and Instruction. I am IB PYP certified.
