Tyrique Quinton Pillay

My name is Tyrique Quinton Pillay and I am 20 years old. I was born in Durban, South Africa and moved to Portugal after my mum was given the opportunity to relocate. I had previously worked 3 years at the Mediterranean Shipping Company head office in South Africa where I have learnt a lot of work knowledge.

I am a very hard working person and I am always willing to learn to new things. I am friendly and an excellent team worker. 

I worked at the MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING COMPANY HEAD OFFICE in South Africa for 3 years. I had learned many work skills as per the below :

• Navis updates 

• Releasing of containers

 • Ensuring all documentation in order for releasing

 • Checking and approving EMC’s

 • Requesting EMCs from port of load

 • Crediting and re-invoicing • Processing of refunds

 • Tracking of containers at the terminal

 • Tracking of vessels and sending out the ARRIVAL NOTIFICATION

 • Arranging carrier haulage • Releasing of custom stopped containers

 • Resolving document queries

 • Ensuring clients are updated on the status of the shipments via E-mail or Telephonically
