- Developing complex AWS cloud-native serverless applications (AWS Serverless)
- Using AWS Lambda, preferably written in TypeScript, (knowledge of is useful)
- Using AWS Serverless products, including API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB etc
- Implementing a range of integration patterns, from SaaS APIs to GraphQL to FTP.
- Understanding DevOps principles & VCS (ideally with experience of Monorepos & GitHub)
- Understanding an Infrastructure-as-Code language (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding traditional Design Patterns
- Test-Driven development, with a quality-driven mindset
- Communicating, with excellent written and spoken skills
- Diagrams-as-code
- Understanding of modern authentication protocols (OAuth2, OIDC)
- Consideration of cross cutting concerns (e.g. Observability, Security)
- Familiarity with Mulesoft
- Contribute to Open Source projects
