    We are looking for aLead Software Engineer, Java BackendWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our development team in Lisbon.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing micro-services using Java/Spring and integrating complex data flows in real time.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership skills and be able to provide mentorship to the front-end development team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Designing and developing micro-services using Java/Spring.
    • Integration of near real-time complex data flows.
    • Ensuring high-performance applications that are secure and scalable.
    • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to the front-end development team.
    • Collaborating with architects and other stakeholders to design scalable and maintainable front-end architectures.
    • Conducting thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with established coding standards and guidelines

    Requirements:

    • 8-12 years of experience in software engineering.
    • Proactive, eager to learn, and experienced working in Agile.
    • Experience in Java/Spring, and RESTful APIs.
    • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring development teams

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in Kafka, Cassandra, Test Automation, Metrics, and reporting tools.
