Why this job is important


The Business Analyst, Transformation will support the Finance Transformation team that is responsible for the creation of a new Finance and Procurement operating model.

A key part of the role will be the ability to self-sufficiently handle work packages of analysis to support the programme whilst developing and maintaining relationships and effectively collaborating with other leads across Finance & Procurement, Global Process Owners, our third-party vendors and other delivery partners.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with Global Process Owners and other Kantar partners to understand, review and prioritize business requirements that underpin the signed off global processes for Finance and Procurement
  • Translate new requirements into the relevant functional specifications for technical teams to design, build and test reports using the most appropriate solution
  • Work closely with technology teams (developers, architects, engineers) to design and recommend technology solutions that address the identified business needs
  • Use data modelling techniques to identify ways in which an organisation can operate more effectively
  • Collaborate with the Test Lead to develop and implement comprehensive test plans, oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure that technology solutions meet quality standards and business requirements
  • Persuade internal and external partners of the benefits of new technology or strategies, whilst laying out their risks, benefits and impacts
  • Create and manage business case models and analysis
  • Run workshops, exploring asis and tobe models, which could include interviewing employees and collecting quantitative data
  • Create documents to outline the proposed changes and the steps involved
  • Oversee the implementation of new technology or a new approach on behalf of the transformation programme manager
  • Contributing to training and support for people affected by new systems and processes
The skills & experience you'll need.

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience working within a cross functional Global Business Services (GBS) environment
  • Ability to build and present business insights at the enterprise, division, and market level with lenses on other key demographics, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, for executive level review
  • Ability to build and manage complex business case models
  • Understanding of ERP Reporting Platforms (SAP, Oracle, IFS) and Budgeting and Financial Consolidation Solutions (Onestream, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion HFM)
  • Basic report writing skills and dashboard development with native ERP reporting writing tools and BI Applications such as Business Objects, Oracle BI or Cognos
  • Sophisticated Excel user
  • Proven experience succeeding in complex, matrix and cross functional projects with the ability to inspire and influence across the organisation
  • Professional level of proficiency with English is essential
  • Understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies
