The Hommes Studio has a job opportunity for you, we are seeking a Buyer.


REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a Buyer to support our purchasing department in purchasing furniture products. Buyers' responsibilities include maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, placing and tracking purchase orders.


PROFILE

  • Engineer degree
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 4 YEARS
  • Great organizational skills are mandatory
  • English speaker is mandatory (other languages will be valued, mainly Spanish).
  • Proven experience in a similar position
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- placing orders

  • Monitoring of purchase orders from undelivered suppliers and pending orders.
  • Manage price/information changes.
  • Maintenance of individual product lists.
  • Creation and maintenance of inventory and supplier records.
  • Supplier returns.
  • Manage supplier invoice/supply disputes.
  • General Administration.
  • A high level of computer literacy is essential.
  • Full familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
- analytical mind and excellent negotiation skills.

  • The ability to independently manage time and workload and handle the multiple priorities and varying demands of a seasonal business is essential.
