A Padaria Portuguesa is coming to Greater Porto


After more than 12 years' experience in the bakery and pastry segment in Greater Lisbon, focused on quality, innovation and the circular economy, A Padaria Portuguesa wants to consolidate its presence in the everyday lives of more Portuguese people.


The expansion to the Porto region requires the creation of specialised local teams, which is why we are currently recruiting a Baker (M/F).


Role:


Manage bakery production and the respective team, carrying out all the duties involved in producing pastries and bread, as well as complying with all rules and procedures to ensure the necessary quality and quantity of output.


Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and organisation of the bakery team;
  • Training and development of the team;
  • Carrying out the daily bakery production;
  • Monitoring production processes;
  • Monitoring the work area, work equipment and machinery;
  • Placing the orders necessary for production and for raw material stocks;
  • Management of production support files;
  • Compliance with cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards;
  • Anticipating and solving problems.

Requirements:


  • Training in the field (will be an advantage);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Team leadership;
  • Customer focus;
  • Flexibility;
  • Organised and driven by processes and deadlines;
  • Availability to work in a system of rotating days off and rotating working hours between 7 am and midnight.
