Hedge Funds Services, part of BNP Paribas Security Services division
Investment Fund Services, is the Fund Administration business dealing with Alternative Investment Funds and Liquid Alternatives. HFS is hiring 2 Administrators/Senior Developers having as main responsibilities

Your Main Activities Are

Communication/Relationship Management
Be a key participant with the external vendors, and the internal IT teams within the hosting location of Paris as a point of contact in relation to technical matters
Work closely with the Application Production Support teams as necessary to ensure first class support services. Act as a key point of contact and escalation point on requests and issues to ensure prompt response and resolution; steer incident analysis and implement preventative action plans for improvement
Develop an understanding of the key business drivers and work with the Engineering, Delivery teams and vendors to understand and specify requirements and to deliver/promote appropriate solutions

Application IT Roadmaps

Functional and Technical
Input to the three year high level technical roadmaps in conjunction with the technical architects and other stakeholders and create more detailed annual roadmaps
Produce, agree and maintain an ongoing assessment and planning for all technical evolutions of the FA/MO platform in hand with the IT Application Owner, Domain Owner and APS
Ensure full communication to all involved parties of the technical plans
Application and Data Security
Comply with and enforce the norms and standards in use: engineering, architecture and security norms and participate in best practice communities
Oversee user access management arrangements and manage any required changes, e.g. the implementation of strong authentication solutions
Review results of security testing, working on the development of remediation plans as required and oversee execution of these plans
Capacity Management
Work with all key stakeholders to ensure that our underlying platforms are accurately sized to meet current and future requirements
Stay close to the on boarding and demand management roadmap
Conduct/Manage performance analysis and fine tuning of processes to minimize any potential adverse impact thus ensuring optimum efficiency of our existing infrastructure

Obsolescence Management

Release Management
Liaise with IT Application Owner and Release Manager to ensure that most suitable technical solution is being put in place and is fully understood and documented
Work with suppliers and internal teams to drive the implementation of automated release processes

Risk Assessments

Application Continuity
Liaise with APS and IT Application Manager to ensure that Disaster Recovery Plans and Service Continuity with the relevant Application Production Support teams

Change Impact Analysis

Project and Change Requests
Work with vendors on the implementation of any new modules/interfaces
System Documentation and Procedures
Profile and Skills to Success
Knowledge of system design, development, implementations, and user support principles and practices
Experience of querying SQL databases is essential, Mongo experience a plus
Experience with Autosys is a plus
Experience with Linux and Windows, administration including daytoday maintenance, troubleshooting and development is essential
Experience of MQ Series or RabbitMQ is a plus
Experience in the different types of architecture models commonly deployed in an enterprise context (E.g. Cloud & VMs)
Understanding of infrastructure and networks
Experience with information system troubleshooting
Knowledge of system connectivity options (e.g. APIs)
Experience of working within a global organization and working with teams across a number of locations
Experience leading and facilitating knowledge transfer and training
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Demonstrable ability to face challenges with an analytical approach and to find solutions to effectively solve problems
Ability to liaise with both internal and external parties at all levels in a professional and efficient manner
Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility
Capable and organized team player with excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, who shares ideas and best practice within the team and across the organization for the benefit of the business
