Overview


We, at Kantar, for the Technology project, are looking for a Product Manager for Tools to help define & deliver our technology infrastructure product strategy for Enterprise Tools services.

This role will be accountable for technology design, delivery, and operation across the Tools product solution set.

We envision that the person to fill the role is able to work with a multi-disciplinary team as well as have a strategic management of this infrastructure domain with our outsource partner to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountability for the delivery of the right combination of products, at the right time, at the best cost and helping colleagues using the services make the right choices for enterprise tools services, including:
  • Product portfolio/catalogue governance, improvement plan definition and cost modelling
  • Provider of functional requirements into the engineering cycle
  • Orchestration of new Product introduction across operations and colleagues (business launch)
  • Customer journey (browse, buy, service/optimise)
  • Drive adoption in line with strategy (Product evangelist, communicators, and trainers)
  • Benchmarking and consumption optimisation insights
  • Play a party to a wider Technology Risk agenda with accountability for enterprise toolingrelated infrastructure components.
- form a key part of the Kantar extended technology leadership team, working closely with the PO and peers to help move the function forward and ensure close alignment of activities, defining our to-be infrastructure and working with our strategic outsource provider to design and deliver core infrastructure products and services across multiple domains including, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and management tooling e.g., Netcool, Spectrum
  • Security tooling e.g., Crowdstrike, Tanium
  • Network tooling e.g., Solar winds
  • Define and continuously improve ways of working, liaising closely with colleagues across technology and the wider business.
Capabilities and experience


As part of the wider Technology leadership team, the person will need to be able to navigate a sophisticated, relationship-driven, environment that is undergoing a period of transformation.

The person will need to manage uncertainty and constant change/uncertainty until the structure of the standalone Kantar business is fully established.
