The CEUS Competence and Service Center is the BusinessIntelligence Competence Center for higher education in Bavaria. Itdesigns, implements, operates and further develops the datawarehouse systems for the Bavarian state universities, theuniversities of applied sciences and the Bavarian State Ministry ofScience and the Arts. The range of tasks also includes conductingtraining courses and providing technical support to decision-makersat the universities in the creation of individual data analyses.

To expand our team, we are looking for aperson to work on the further development of data analyses and theunderlying data structures for data-driven analyses in the "StudentLife Cycle" area and to provide technical support to users atuniversities.

Your area of responsibility andapplication:

• Analysis of technicalrequirements and evaluation of possible solution variants in closecoordination with the users and the team
• Implementation of business intelligence solutions using theMicroStrategy product range
• Furtherdevelopment of database structures and ETL processes usingMicrosoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
• Analysis, monitoring and improvement of dataquality
• Professional and technical contactperson for users at the universities

Your profile:

• Completeduniversity degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in the field of(business) computer science (part-time Master's students are alsowelcome) or completed training in the field of IT (applicationdevelopment) or technical assistance for computer science
• Experience with a business intelligencesuite (ideally MicroStrategy)
• Basicknowledge of relational database systems (SQL)
• Knowledge of agile methods
• Interest in university management topics
• Very good written and spoken German, at least level C2
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, independentand solution-oriented way of working, high level of initiative andwillingness to undergo further training
