- Optimization andcontinuous development of our IT infrastructure
- Installation and support of user workstations, includingmobile devices, using the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Design and implementation of complex Linuxand Windows server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, IIS)
- Windows domain administration includingidentity and access management (IAM)
- Implementation of the global security concept (backup, firewall,endpoint detection and response, patch management)
- Management of the public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Support and further development of Oracleand MS SQL databases
- Administration of theLAN/WAN infrastructure and central storage systems (SAN)
- Support and administration of VMware, CitrixXenApp server farms and Docker containers
- Administration and further development of Microsoft 365 and Azureservices
- Planning and implementation ofhardware and software updates
- Monitoring allcomponents involved in the IT process with regard to security andavailability using existing monitoring tools
- Collaboration and management of complex IT projects withcross-departmental cooperation
- Obtaininghardware and software offers from external service providers andsuppliers
- Creation of user documentation,general system documentation and installation instructions
- Successfully completed vocationaltraining as an IT specialist for system integration, computerscience degree or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the above-mentionedfield
- Current Microsoft certification is anadvantage
- Very sound knowledge of the Linuxand Microsoft operating systems, including the administration ofWindows domains and public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Experience in the administration of Dell storagesystems, Veeam Backup, VMware vSphere (or comparable hardware andsoftware) as well as Microsoft 365 and Azure Services
- Ideally knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures with Ciscocomponents, SQL and Oracle databases as well as Citrix XenApp andDocker containers
- Flexibility andwillingness to participate in regular IT on-call duty
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Very high analytical ability and quality-conscious andconscientious working style
- Reliability andsense of responsibility
- Independent workingstyle and strong ability to work in a team
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Fulltime 38.5 hours/week
