The International Logistics Specialist has experience with international shipping and relies on data-driven decision making.

The International Logistics Specialist is accountable for all the communication with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure the shipment and deliveries of goods worldwide in a smooth, timely and cost-effective manner.

The International Logistics Specialist oversees all the logistics facets of the team to ensure compliance with all company guidelines, policies, and regulations.


What you'll be doing:


  • Responsible for the day to day import and export logistics operations;
  • Contact carriers and develop business partnerships;
  • Developing and maintaining carrier delivery metrics and freight reporting to measure carrier service performance and monthly freight spend;
  • Monitor daily delivery report alerts to carriers to ensure shipments are on track to meet expected delivery dates for inbound and outbound shipments;
  • Contact carriers to resolve any red flag shipments and be able to quantify and qualify issues to address it to upper management;
  • Responsible for logging and following up with carriers for damaged and lost product claims to ensure reimbursements;
  • Maintain monthly freight reporting and conduct freight bill audits to measure freight spend by carrier and service level;
  • Track and maintain monthly delivery reports for on time and complete (OT&C) shipments activity to measure carrier performance;
  • Follow up on projects and assigned tasks and report back to upper management.

What you need to have:


  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in a fastpaced environment;
  • Experience with international logistics;
  • Knowledge of logistics operations in China and the USA;
  • The ability to interpret and communicate clearly in Portuguese and English;
  • Datadriven decisionmaking skills;
  • Computer programs: Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Capacity and desire to master other Company tools such as Oracle/Net-Suite, Looker, Other WMS tools, etc.

  • Experience managing a highvolume, high margin, high customer service distribution environment;
  • Knowledge of supply chain management;
  • Based in Porto, PT.
