Description:

as part of the Corporate General Ledger team, you will act as key-user for all European VAT affairs, as well as provide accurate and timely accounting of the Corporate entities.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual European VAT declarations for the group, coordinating with the local taxaccountants, making sure all deadlines are met
  • Support the Group VAT Manager by acting as a single pointofcontact for all tax related issues to both internal and external entities
  • Prepare the cash flow forecasts for the Corporate entities
  • ICO reconciliation
  • Supporting Accounting in the monthly closing
  • Closely liaise with the other Corporate General Ledger team members and others, such as Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Tax.

Qualifications:


  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant area
  • Previous experience in similar responsibilities, specifically in an international VAT environment
  • Analytical mindset and strong organizational skills
  • Solid communication skills to interact with several stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (mandatory)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, namely MS Excel, and ERP (SAP is a plus)
  • Resident in Ovar or nearby area
