- Design and implement improvements to Five9 ACD subsystem ensuring exceptional code quality and thorough testing (both at unit, sub-system and integration level).
- Provide technical expertise for implementing new features in Google Cloud Platform ensuring high availability, high scalability and multitenancy properties.
- Participate in sprint planning, stories and task planning.
- Master's degree in computer science or related technical field.
- 5 years of professional experience in the position offered, or related capacity.
- Please note, 2 days per week working onsite in the Porto office is required for this role.
- 7+ years of industry experience in backend software development.
- 5 years of experience in design and development of software using Java.
- Strong expertise in development and deployment technologies and programming libraries: Java EE (EJB, JMS, JMX), JBoss, Tomcat, JDBC.
- Strong understanding Automatic Call Distribution functionality.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms.
- Strong experience in developing real-time high volume 24/7 systems.
- Extensive experience developing microservices.
- Extensive experience building REST APIs.
- Expertise in Spring, Kubernetes.
- Experience in developing distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of event-driven systems.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and caches.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. Benefits:
