**Position Summary
We are looking for a
Head of E-Commerce Retail NiM to join our Sales Retail NiM team.

Your mission will be to lead the e-commerce strategy for the Portuguese Market by coordinating corporate and categories' e-commerce plans to shape and drive an integrated NiM e-commerce strategy.

Also, accelerate the ZONE EUROPE e-commerce roadmap in the Portuguese market with the main purpose of contributing to the goal of Nestlé to be the leading FMCG player in e-commerce to build brands and delight consumers.

Your main responsibilities rely on shape and drive the Nestlé Portugal e-commerce strategy to deliver superior shopper experience, high customer satisfaction and sustainable profitable growth.

Design and implement cross functional and specific practices (commercial, supply chain, marketing/media) and lead market implementation. Build and drive internal capabilities, succession planning and understanding within the organization (corporate and categories).


A day in the life of a Head of E-Commerce Retail NiM
Lead and Drive the NiM Retail E-Commerce Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and shape detailed ecommerce strategies to enable category & corporate teams to win digitally with input from Zones/GMBs and best in class industries;
  • Establish and manage a solid ecommerce governance model across the market;
  • Work with the team to define a mechanism to capture the next level practices, cascade them and constantly build market capabilities to stay ahead of the curve (dynamically). Sustain N1 leadership position in FMCG in the country;
  • Explore and present new trends and technologies;
  • Leverage shared team resources including customer facing supply chain, media/marketing, sales controlling and shopper marketing to maximize results;
  • Contribute to NiM RBS via ecommerce role.
Lead and Coordinate E-Commerce Customer roadmaps across Categories

  • Lead ecommerce roadmap and define MWB for the coming years;
  • Develop a bestinclass GD plan and ensure an excellent execution at category level;
  • Explore new ways of working, trends and solutions to constantly ahead of the curve;
  • Lead last mile delivery strategy definition and implementation;
  • Prepare new customer entrance leading central negotiations from NiM perspective;
  • Build future operational model for Amazon.
Coordinate implementation of Nestle D2C strategy and Nestlé store deployment

  • Lead Nestlé D2C cross category strategy & possible link to other platforms
Create an e-commerce community and inspire virtual team of Champions in each business (E-council)

  • Build best practices and tools constantly;
  • Lead NiM market strategy deployment in each category;
  • Transfer best practices to categories (Workshops, Best practices sharing);
  • Monitoring performance and progress;
  • Ensure engagement by coordinating Ecouncil, QBRs, marketplace, communication on dedicated Forums, etc.;
  • Be the Portugal SPOC for building an Iberian approach to ecommerce leveraging synergies and capabilities;
  • Leverage networking within Nestlé international ecommerce community;
  • Represent Nestlé in ecommerce externally and with KOLs to enhance Nestlé Portugal's reputation on ecommerce.
Talent Management & Team Leadership

  • Develop ecommerce Talent pipeline across NiM
  • Manage and build a diverse and inclusive team
**What will make you successful

  • 10+ years in commercial experience (Sales, CDT, Marketing), with proven experience in E-Commerce, ideally working across different GD areas (Sales, CDT and Marketing), and international experience
  • Previous E-Customer management experience would be a plus
  • Broad E-Business knowledge, including Digital Marketing
  • Track record of successful project management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business driving technology solutions (i.e. Nielsen, BW, Source), internal/external industry insights and trends and syndicated market measurements data
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques/methods and of available instore tactics
  • Advanced knowledge of core business processes and key functions
  • Professional proficiency in English. Other languages knowledge is a plus
  • Embody "agility" as key way of winning in role
  • Bias towards action with a "fail fast" mentality
  • Highly developed skills to identify/create specific Best Practice, develop solution/tools and embed them
  • Solid presentation and facilitation skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic, with a selfstarter and integrity mindset
  • Ability to integrate well in multicultural environment
