Our client is Banque (Automotive Industry), which is currently implementing his SSC in PORTO.

Responsibilities:

Keep the accounts cleared (Execute clearings and monitor liaison accounts).

Perform and sign the monthly reconciliations by financial product and analyse the consistency between audit trails to ensure the integrity of financial data.

book journal entries (manual adjustments, portfolio and stages reclassification), Provisions calculation.

Account's Certification in Blackline (Reconciliation Tool).

Ageing Analysis:
Monthly review and control over major balance sheet accounts by suspense amounts.

Monthly and Quarterly reports:

BASEL II preparation).

Liaise with Internal/External Auditors and other departments.

Improve on internal control for data security, access, consistency, and backup.

Creation/update of Desktop Procedures.

Analyse and review the accounting schemes in place.

Active participation/contribution in new projects/implementations under SSCP scope.

Profile:

Relevant work experience in financial accounting in multinational organization, experience in SSC environment is a plus.

Experience in using automated accounting system is an advantage (Robotic process automation).

Experience in SAP and good knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools (mastery in Excel).

Solid accounting knowledge.

Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation.

Problem solving and analytical skills.

Self-motivated and self-directed individual.

Good in written & spoken English in a business environment.

French is a plus.

Bachelor/degree in accounting, or Finance preferably.
At least 3 years working experience in finance/accounting function.
