How to contribute to our vision


The mission of this position is to ensure adherence to Quality management / assurance related processes and procedures, and oversees related operational and/or supportive activities, with specific operation teams assigned.

He/she is either a Quality Professional, a Quality Technician with managerial experience.

Some of your key tasks will include but are not be limited to:

  • Leads an assigned global quality team located in several countries. Prioritizes and assigns tasks to team members and checks progress of agreed transactions and workflows.
  • Manages Qualityrelated activities with involved internal and external parties.
  • Ensures implementation and improvement of the quality part of the Integrated Management System (including process management) for the respective organization unit according to the quality strategy and respective local regulations.
  • Implements the specific quality programs within his organization and monitors the effectiveness of these programs.
  • Contributes to product safety activities.
  • Ensures the quality reporting.
  • Contributes to budget planning processes.
  • Ensures qualification and competences of the assigned team.
  • Acts as an escalation point of contact for quality issues.
  • Managing a global team of Quality engineers located in several countries
  • Travel is expected;
  • Provide regular communication regarding strategy and execution to internal stakeholders
  • Provide technical expertise to SGRE Plant Quality teams.
  • Responsible for changes in control plans, inspection records, control instructions and analyze change requests.
What you need to make a difference

  • You have a passion for leading teams and developing your employees to achieve outstanding quality performance
  • You have significant experience of working in a similar role, ideally within a largescale manufacturing / engineering / automotive environment
  • You have experience in managing both engineers and operational workers
  • You have a strong quality mindset and the ability to inspire your employees and other stakeholders for a culture of continuous improvement
  • You know how to set ambitious and reachable objectives and ensure followup for achieving it
  • You are structured, factsdriven, and able to work under pressure and manage several operational and conceptual activities at the same time
  • An Engineering degree is preferred
  • You are fluent in Portuguese and your English is of a very high standard both spoken and written
