About the role

Trade Marketing Junior


Lead Shopper strategy end to end at customer/channel level, through preparation and implementation winning shopper activation plans, with a clear objective of increasing company's market share and deliver budgeted sales and profit targets.


This is delivered via:

  • Ensure consistent high quality Shopper Execution and control at the point of purchase.
  • Prepare shopper activation plan (Promotional Plan and In store visibility plan), by customer, with close collaboration with sales and marketing teams with a clear focus on achieving execution and distribution goals.
  • Promotion budget control and measurement of shopper marketing effectiveness of Promotion investments in the channel in line with the process.
  • Precampaign design jointly w/sales coordination & tracking & execution.
  • Deliver brand priorities in market, taking direction from Area marketing team on area priorities, and provide a feedback loop with insights and inmarket effectiveness of area initiatives.
  • Deliver execution strategies and plans (space, promotion) through to the point of purchase. These are to be executed at the POS winning with our customers and consumers.
  • Sales forecasting for promo packs, jointly with Sales and Marketing.
  • Ensure our merchandisers team have high quality relevant materials to activate the brands with shoppers, consumers.
  • Sell in strategy development and support activities.
  • Sell out strategy development and implementation to optimize visibility, build customers recommendation and drive consumer preference.
  • Shopper marketing campaigns effectiveness including ROI.
  • Managing relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Comply with local legislation and corporate standards in communication on materials and promotion.
  • Manage discussions with key customers on their category strategy, drive change and significantly improve shopper engagement at the point of purchase.
Key responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Understand specific Customer/chain (promotional policy and calendar, role of the category, shopper characteristics).
  • Gather customer ́s feedback and react appropriately.
  • Monitor results and draw conclusions.
  • Jointly with Sales and Marketing present results and action plans to deliver growth.
  • Responsible for all in-store promotions materials, which endorse Haleon brands and account strategies, in order to enable Haleon Consumer Healthcare to reach its brand and customer objectives.
  • Purchase of materials in full compliance with sourcing and purchasing guidelines.
  • Work closely with re-packers and display suppliers ensuring all materials are purchased, developed and delivered on time done within budget constraints.
  • Monitor and track competition regarding POS materials used and field activities.
Qualifications and skills Essential


Education:


  • University Degree level. Preferably Pharmacy, Business, etc.

Experience:

- +2 years mainly in Commercial/Trade Marketing/Marketing position.
  • Mandatory experience in Pharmacy channel.
  • Organization & deadline management as must.
  • Make things happen & teamwork spirit.
