    About the role

    The Cyber Security and Compliance Leader reports to DT Director / CIO for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration Business.

    The position serves as the process owner of all assurance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee, and business information in compliance with the organization's information security policies.

    A key element is working with executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization.

    This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program to ensure that information assets are adequately protected.

    Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a global cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives. Risk Management Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across diverse regions. Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Policy Development Formulate and enforce security policies considering the unique aspects of each region based on industry best practices.
  • Incident Response Lead and coordinate incident response efforts globally. Develop and regularly test incident response plans to enhance organizational resilience.
  • Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with international cybersecurity regulations and standards. Stay informed about evolving regulatory requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Security Culture Cultivate a strong security culture throughout the organization including senior leadership Provide ongoing education and awareness programs for employees.
  • Technology Assessment Evaluate cybersecurity technologies for effectiveness and relevance to regional requirements. Recommend and implement innovative security solutions.
  • Education / Certifications

  • 10 years of experience in cyber security
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).
  • Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity leadership role, preferably in a multi-regional or global capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies that align with business goals.
  • Strong understanding of regional cybersecurity landscapes, regulations and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant industry knowledge and the ability to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Experience in managing the relationship with MSPs and insuring the delivery of high quality services.
