Responsibilities:


  • Drive production of monthly management information (MI) for the Global Supply Chain (GSC); analyse, interpret, and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial results, actively participate/lead the financial analysis for key projects/programs.
  • Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for the function; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep the business leadership team abreast of financial results and issues
  • Ensure all capex projects are accurately reported in Finario. Liaise with plant controllers / Supply Chain to ensure projects are within approved delegations. Responsible for actual, Plan & Forecast reconciliations. Responsible for production of ICM materials, in conjunction with the Global Head of Engineering, helping to ensure Elementis drives value from its annual capex.
  • Subject matter expert in operations and cost accounting work with plant and operational controllers to drive a common approach to standard costing cross Elementis, and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the plants accounting systems and records, as well as strict compliance to all company policies, procedures and controls.
  • Deep dive in product costing, including raw materials, freight and duties, manufacturing variable and fixed cost; provide insights for cost variance to support contribution margin analysis as part of monthly performance and annual budgeting cycle. Accurate costing analysis supports and influences critical business decision making around product pricing decisions ensuring value creation.
  • Finance support to the SIOP process. Help to financialize changes, risks & opportunities, communicate updates to the wider team to help translate the operational aspects to the commercial teams. Drive analysis of global inventory management at Elementis, working to unlock value from the Groups inventory and drive more efficient ways of working, with particular emphasis on corrective actions around slow moving and obsolete inventory.
Decision Making


You will have the authority to make decisions related to the day-to-day finance and strategic operations of the Elementis global supply chain.

The role will influence critical decision making around product costing and effective management of inventory.

Higher-level approvals would be required for decisions related to strategic shifts or significant decisions that have substantial financial or long-term implications.
