As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Namecheap, you will review and validate the development work to ensure the quality and that the requirements are met, so our millions of users can use our products in a fluid and seamless way.
Process: 3 steps totalling 4 hours over 2 to 3 weeks

Team size: 11 people (1 Project Manager, 3 Senior Frontend Developers, 4 Backend Developers, 1 QA Engineer, 1 QA Analyst + YOU)

What will you do?- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from planning to release.
- You'll analyze quality requirements of the projects on hand, such as functionality and others, including migrating a technology that already exists within Namecheap, but also on new projects built from scratch.
- Collaborate with Developers, PM's, Product Owners and stakeholders to move the quality agenda forward.
- Define test scenarios and write test cases for current developments and releases, as well as execution of those tests and documenting its results.
- Use Postman to perform API testing, work daily with project management tool, Jira, logging bugs, validating tasks and user stories, actively contributing to the team work results.
- Also, constantly gather and share experiences within the QA team, aiming to constantly improve all processes quality and proactively develop needed skills.
- Experience in software testing with an eye for details
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience in writing and maintaining test documentation and bugtracking systems

- Experience with logging analysis
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Charles Proxy
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Knowledge with e2e automation frameworks and script testing
