    The Role:

    As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be part of a vibrant team supporting the Consulting Office in the UK.

    Our team is responsible for maintaining, improving, and enhancing the high quality of Aptia systems and databases, in order to provide the most accurate information to the client, so they can make better decisions regarding their benefits.

    You will work closely and on a daily basis with expert colleagues based across the UK.

    This role is a hybrid position where you will work from our office in Lisbon, as well as from your home address.


    What you will be doing:

    A variety of administration activities connected to the running of a pension scheme, including leavers, data changes, setting up benefits into payment, general policyholder enquiries and annual scheme updates.

    Undertake all aspects of the data cleanse process including data analysis, data cleanse, data reconciliation and issue resolution as well as the co-ordination of member data exercises.

    Gain a thorough understanding of the scheme details administered in the team and ensure activities are processed in line with the scheme rules.

    Performing complex pensions calculations, enter pensions data and answer enquiries to the required standard using both automated and non-automated manual/system processes across a wide range of member or scheme events.

    Peer review complex tasks and work in process improvements. Work within specified timescales and produce quality work within this.
    Work as part of a team, collaborating to continuously improve processes and service to clients.

    What we are looking for Bachelor/ master's degree in math, engineering, actuarial science, statistics, economics, management, finance, or related field.

    Relevant experience working in a financial services or data analysis role.
    Strong numeracy skills, comfortable working in a numbers-based role. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

    Good IT skills, comfortable working with systems and programmes such as MS Office (especially excel).VBA skills (preferential).Organised with strong attention to detail.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    A good team player.
    Able to understand and follow set processes. Able to analyse and improve processes.
    Flexibility in adapting to different environments and types of work.
