WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an experienced Privacy Professional, you will assist the UK, Ireland, and Italy affiliate's Compliance Lead in implementing and administering Amgen's Corporate Compliance programs & policies and International Compliance standards & Procedures.
The individual will be located in the Amgen Capability Center Portugal (ACCP) and support Amgen's Privacy Compliance program in UK, Ireland, and Italy.
- Promote and support adherence to all Healthcare Compliance requirements (internal and external) in UK&I and Italy
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to affiliate staff and stakeholders on interpretation and implementation of regional (e.g. EFPIA) and local Codes of Practice & legislation and Amgen policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of applicable laws and regulations in the country and keep current with changes that may affect Amgen's Compliance program.
- Assist in the implementation of Corporate Compliance programs in the country/countries.
- Implement regional Healthcare Compliance procedures, presentations, communications, and training.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials for the local Code.
- Perform training overdue students reminders to their line managers
- Coordinate meetings with local Compliance forum (minutes, tracking of assistance, followup actions)
- Participate in the Compliance audit (as required)
- Analyze data for the local Risk management program and prepare the materials for the affiliate Leadership Team discussion; follow up on improvement actions (as required).
- Review local healthcare compliance activities in accordance with SOPs and the local Code (as required)
- Participate in regional compliance initiatives or projects.
- Deliver presentations to the affiliate Leadership and other teams in alignment with the affiliate Compliance Lead.
- Thirdparty anticorruption and antibribery due diligence: support compliance officer and business team to develop a basic due diligence process for the local market and help the business to ensure that necessary due diligence is conducted in the critical and highrisk tier of activities.
- Assist Data Privacy Leads.
- Other activities in cooperation with the affiliate compliance Lead.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Science, Medicine, R&D, Pharmacy, or Audit
- At least 23 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or biotechnology
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Healthcare Compliance awareness/experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge about applicable laws and regulations preferred
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams
- Experience with defining and implementing policies, procedures, and SOP's
