    About the job:

    The professional will have the task of supporting the Teams that are performing Performance/No-regression tests both online and batch in order to:


    • Collect technical evidence on resource consumption;


    • Analyze the 10g vs 19c performance variations intercepted by the teams carrying out the tests, then identify/suggest possible measures to improve them


    • Apply interventions on the DB that improve performance


    • Check the outcome of the intervention applied to performance


    • Document and update what is produced.

    Requirements

    • The ideal candidate is a figure with technical experience in application performance analysis in an Exadata context on Oracle 19c.
    • Managing and consolidating the Oracle database;
    • Analyzing and resolving incidents related to Oracle databases and Oracle RAC;
    • Resolving incidents occurring in infrastructures related to databases installed on servers (physical or virtual) that host information systems data;
    • Making changes to configurations, improvements, and optimizations related to database operation, partitioning, queries, and structure;
    • Implementing good practices and passing on knowledge;
    • Documenting all the operations carried out and updating the documentation relating to the managed infrastructures;
    • Implementing and managing replication via Data Guard;
    • Good communication skills in English or Italian
    • Must have a good aptitude for promoting the identification of causes and therefore defining the actions necessary to solve a technological problem.
