We are now recruiting a Value Chain Analysis Specialist to join our Procurement team in Lisbon.


Among other responsibilities, International Procurement is responsible for performing the 'Airbus International Footprint" analysis, formerly known as VCA - Value Chain Analysis.

This exercise consists in identifying the indirect sourcing volume footprint of Airbus globally focusing both on Airbus Tiers 1 offshore make and their offshore buy.

This survey is targeting a defined number of suppliers with cross-divisional scope (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, Airbus Helicopters) worldwide.

You will support this survey including, but not only:

  • Survey (RFI) preparation including internal stakeholder management
  • RFI management including supplier interactions
  • Data Collection and consolidation
  • Data Analytics
Contribute to preparation

  • RFI Preparation
  • Create and maintain Focal point network with commodity, functional, Regional Procurement Office (RPO) representatives and other stakeholders
  • Support RFI template creation
  • Contribute to Supplier List in scope
  • Consolidation Preparation
  • Initial Database consistency check
  • T1 supplier quality check, rework and translate into AIF language and integrate to final database
Support RFI (Survey)

  • RFI (Survey) information:
  • Information sessions with SRMs, Buyers and SOM from the commodities
  • Information sessions with suppliers
  • RFI (Survey) sending:
  • Manage the diffusion in accordance with Airbus policy, to all the required suppliers, using the contact list.
Data Collection and Consolidation

  • Collection:
  • Manage the relationship with the suppliers for the scope of the AIF campaign, depending on the following cases:
  • Drumbeat responses in line with commodity representatives
  • Manage answers to supplier clarifications or questions
  • Quality checks: Perform quality and consistency checks
  • Validation with Divisions/ Commodities RPOs, and SRMs/ Buyers as defined
  • Consolidation: Following the quality and consistency check, registration of supplier information in the database
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders for data integration in the final digital reporting tool
Analytics

  • Provide comments on regional/country trends and evolutions
  • Provide Adhoc analysis and reporting requests
  • Project Management experience & Operational background
