Our client is a technology start-up which, with a view to growth, is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Chief People Officer.

• Play a crucial role in fostering a culture of growth and development within our awesome team;
• Overseeing Human Resources operations and acting as the main point of contact for HR topics;
• Being a strong advisor on labor law matters and policy development to ensure compliance and a fair work environment;
• Developing strategies and providing guidance on employee training, professional development, and career pathing;
• Collaborating on professional category classification and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Monitoring adherence to internal policies and legal standards;
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify talent needs and develop effective strategies.

• Degree in Human Resources;
• Multiple years of experience in HR leadership roles;
• Experience in a startup environment or fastpaced growth company;
• Comprehensive knowledge of legal processes, labor laws, and policy development;
• Proven ability to design employee training, development, and compensation structures;
• Fluency in English;
• Fluency in French (a plus);
• Strong and effective communicator;
• Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
