- Design, construct, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
- Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
- Work with messaging systems and data pipelines.
- Employ a variety of technologies and tools to marry systems together.
- Drive the improvements on data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience in production environments as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; a Master's is a plus. · Understanding of general data engineering and distributed system principles.
- Experience with streaming data processing frameworks, such as Apache Flink or Spark.
- Solid background working in a SDLC with a standard programming language (e.g. Java, Python).
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design.
- Experience with messaging systems and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Google BigQuery, PubSub, and the GCP ecosystem.
- Experience in data mining, data cleaning, and data management.
- Previous experience in the Contact Center industry. Benefits:
