Our client specializes in the machining of mechanical parts and high-precision assemblies, sheet metal working/boiler

making, and the assembly of larger assemblies (batches). The group is present in the aeronautics (aerostructure, aero
- engine), automotive (premium and motorsport), defense, naval, energy, and space (DNES) industries.

Main Accountabilities:


  • Supervising the ongoing production of your production unit;
  • Implementing the actions necessary to achieve the productivity, quality, environmental, and safety performance of
your production unit and striving for continuous improvement.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar;
- + 5 years of experience executing a similar role;

  • Significant experience in industry, particularly in production management. Experience in the aeronautical
sector would be an asset;

  • Knowledge of industrial processes, mainly CNC machining;
  • Capacity for analysis and decisionmaking;
  • Leadership ability and able to establish strong interpersonal relationships;
  • Proactive and dynamic attitude;
  • Willingness to learn, collaborative spirit, and a team player;

Languages:

  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • Basic/intermediate level of French (would be valued).

The following activities (not limited to) are foreseen:

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Plan UAP activities in consultation with team leaders;
  • Coordinating UAP activities with the dedicated team (logistics, control, methods, configuration management)
and support departments (maintenance, conservation, quality, HR, etc.);

  • Ensuring the availability of production equipment (in collaboration with Maintenance);
  • Managing staff (discipline, training, transfers, appraisals, remuneration, etc.);
  • Promoting communication within the UAP;
  • Informing the Operations Director about the UAP's activities (reports);
  • Proposing and implementing improvement actions;
  • Drawing up the operating budget and respecting the allocated budget lines;
  • Complying with the objectives for fixed assets in stock and work in progress, implementing the necessary
adjustments to reduce production cycles (reorganizations, changes in working methods, etc.);

  • Determine workload plans: human resources and machinery or adapt to new orders (modification of
production equipment, reorganization of teams, etc.);

  • Participate in projects to modernize production tools (transfer of machines, processes, ergonomics, etc.) to
reduce costs;

  • Participating in defining the team's training and recruitment plan, in collaboration with HR services;
  • Participating in improving, complying with, and ensuring compliance with SMI procedures.
