    DBA ORACLE (Senior)

    Description:

    The DBA Oracle (Senior) is responsible for coordinating and performing the installation and configuration of database management systems and application servers.

    They assess, manage, and install software patches to Oracle Applications in the production and development environments.

    They work with business units to understand how they use the Oracle Applications, and make recommendations on more efficient use of Oracle Applications as it pertains to database performance.

    In addition, they install and configure system and third-party software packages and provide system and application support to all end-users.

    The DBA Oracle (Senior) also provides support and troubleshoots issues related to Oracle Workflow, Discoverer, Noetix, and Application Desktop Integrator (ADI).

    They monitor concurrent manager jobs and assess performance-related issues.

    They maintain the security and confidentiality of information accessible on managed systems and monitor, manage, and resolve incoming Service Desk tickets.

    They ensure that availability service level agreement (SLA) targets are met for production applications and are responsible for Oracle EBS Application Patch Management and Printer Configuration.

    The DBA Oracle (Senior) is responsible for Oracle R12 User Access Administration.

    They configure and maintain data servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

    They also analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, owning problem resolution beginning-to-end. They perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours and automate and refine regular processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
