HR Coordinator

What you will do

The HR Coordinator, located in São João da Madeira, will work directly with HR manager for Portugal, providing HR services and support for our Retail Solutions business in Portugal.

You will be involved in all areas of Human Resources Support, during the various phases of processes, from administration to execution.

How you will do it
You will work directly with the HR Manager for Portugal, fulfilling mainly the following tasks:

Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as onboarding and compensation & benefits;
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, such as training and events;
Support recruitment process where necessary, namely Employer Brand initiatives such as Job Fairs;
Coordinate payroll and maintaining employee records updated;
Maintain and audit the HR data and information systems: Employee informations files, Workday, LMS, among others;
Respond to employees ́ questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations;
Manage Surveys and Training data;
Support the compliance with all JCI policies and legal requirements;
Follow up on local EHS processes and activities in coordation with EHS Country Responsible.

What we look for

Work experience in the HR field;
Knowledge of labor legislation;
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel;
Organizational skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Fluence in English;
Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems, such as Workday;
BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
