Multinational pharma company, is looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist for Portugal.


Job Role:
To support the commercial & category strategy and hence delivery of trade objectives for a selection of channels/ categories.

Develop and execute the Trade Marketing Plan/Initiatives in line with sales and marketing objectives and manage the trade Marketing budget to assign brands and channels.

Continuous improvement as commercial & category strategy expert. Works with close collaboration with sales and marketing teams.


Key Responsabilities:

  • Monitors Sales Brands / Channels Daily performance & KPIs
  • Able to develop / update critical power BI reports useful reports automated, and key insights & action points shared with teams.
  • Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in instore planning, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
  • Leading and implementing channel specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers
  • Leading activation & innovative programs with partners to improve brand visibility
  • Visiting the points of sales regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected.
  • Supports the definition of where to play and what it takes to win for the categories and brands within remit.
  • Supports the design of toolkit that enables the commercial team (CS&I and KAM) to deliver the commercial strategy & tactics.
  • Develop external relationships with commercial and category contacts in line with corporate account contact plans, including presenting/ selling category strategy & insights directly to account contacts with the support of the account management team.
  • Tracking of Sales fundamentals (share of shelf & SKU, display) for relevant categories, and development of plans to improve.
  • Analyse in store activity to understand ROI in order to improve future activity.
  • Provides input for relevant existing brands and NPD in the stage gate and budgeting process, providing customer, category and shopper input into brand plans.
Participates in sell-in forecasting, list price review, market share and competition analysis.


Requeriments:


Ideally a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in Marketing, Sales, Trade-marketing in OTC market or FMCG industry.


Knowledge & Experience:
University Degree in Business Administration/ Management/ Pharmaceuticals or Marketing. Portuguese and English proficiency written and spoken.
