Then, we are looking for you as our new Marketing and Communication Manager for Kiwa Portugal and Spain, based in Lisbon

The role

In this position you will develop the marketing and communication strategy and/or executional road map for the appointed brands and products, acquire approval and ensure implementation, in line with Kiwa and country/business unit strategy, in order to build and/or launch strong and profitable brands/products and an attractive customer value proposition.

You will act as spokesperson of the company and advice managers on the implementation of communication plans.


As Marketing & Communication Manager you know how to reach the right target group and convert them into customers with the right message.


Projects you'll be working on:

  • Develop policies and objectives for the functional unit (expertise area). Contribute to the overall country/business unit and functional strategy;
  • Formulate the year plan and budget for the business area, acquire approval and monitor the (financial) performance versus the budget and annual plan;
  • Initiate and oversee research and analysis of data/information concerning customers, customer satisfaction, products, services, internal and external factors and market trends;
  • Determine the customer value proposition. Initiate the evaluation of actions and use the results to decide whether to modify or discontinue actions;
  • Manage specific marketing channels (e.g. digital, print, media) and ensure aligned to target market and company brand;
  • Ensure development, production and execution of marketing materials and advertising campaigns, in line with the marketing plan and strategy;
  • Develop and cultivate leads for business development projects;
  • Build and maintain a network of relevant (external) stakeholders / partners / industry relationships and represent Kiwa / geographical area as an organisation;
  • Advise management regarding own discipline / department on a regular basis, considering the organization's strategy, in order to provide management with the necessary information to take adequate decisions;
  • Collect content for website, social media and intranet from the directors and colleagues;
  • Organize events, trade fairs and other possibilities to meet clients.

Do you have what it takes?
If you see yourself flourish in this role at Kiwa, we'd like you to at least bring:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or Communication Sciences;
  • A professional in the field of Communication and Marketing with previous experience in the sector of at least 5 years;
  • Good interpersonal skills in terms of communication and written and spoken language;
  • Aptitude for organization and methodical work;
  • Aptitude for dynamic work and proactivity;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English, Portuguese and Spanish language at a professional level (mandatory);
  • Willingness to travel;
  • 40 hours per week available;
  • Knowledge of digital and communication tools:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • CMS systems, preferably Optimizely
  • Social Media channels such as Linkedin
  • Google Analytics (preferred)
  • Google Ads (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Indesign and Photoshop (preferred)
